Degumming: Remove the gum (mainly phospholipids) from the crude oil. Degumming technology mainly adopts hydration degumming method, that is, by using the hydrophilicity of gel soluble impurities such as phospholipids, a certain amount of water or electrolyte dilute solution is added to the crude oil under stirring, so that the gum soluble impurities in the crude oil can absorb water, expand, agglomerate and separate.
Decolorization: Adopt adsorption decolorization method to remove pigments, trace soap, phospholipids, polycyclic hydrocarbons and residual pesticides in crude oil.
Deodorization: Deodorization can not only remove the odorous substances in the crude oil, increase the smoke point in the oil, improve the flavor of the oil, but also effectively remove pollution, at the same time it can also remove peroxides and their decomposition products, and remove the protein in the moldy oil Volatile decomposition products can remove residual pesticides such as small molecular weight polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons to reduce them to a safe level. Crude oil deodorization means that water vapor passes through high-temperature grease containing odorous components under high vacuum, and the odorous components in the gas-liquid surface contact oil volatilize into the water vapor bubble according to the ratio of its partial pressure. Escape together with water vapor to achieve the purpose of deodorization.
Dewaxing: According to the melting point difference between wax and grease and the solubility (or dispersion) of wax in grease decreases with temperature, the crystal wax is precipitated by cooling, and the purpose of dewaxing is achieved by filtration or centrifugal separation. One common point of all dewaxing methods is that the temperature is below 25°C to achieve good dewaxing results.
